WREX unveil chaotic new single, 111
“A purge of energy, a release and a reflection of that ADHD itch you just can’t scratch…” WREX share their latest single from next month’s SADWORLD EP.
WREX are celebrating their new EP SADWORLD with some big new shows across the UK and Europe this autumn...
WREX have announced a headline tour for later in 2026, which includes both their biggest headline shows yet and their first shows in Europe.
Starting in Blackpool on September 24, WREX will hit up venues in Stockport, London, Birmingham, Frome, Sheffield, Leeds and Glasgow. From there, they’ll head on to mainland Europe for more shows there, concluding in Luxembourg on November 1.
The tour news arrives hot off the release of the duo’s new EP, SADWORLD.
“The last year has been about getting out there and pushing ourselves - playing as much as we can, meeting people, and feeling that connection in real time,” says co-vocalist Mae Seaton. “We’ve played 54 shows over the last year, and that’s completely changed our perspective. This project started with two people and a laptop, so being in those rooms night after night has forced us out of our own heads, stripped something back, and let the songs take on a different weight once they’re shared with other people.
“This EP is about taking our personal experiences and opening them up in a way that other people can identify with. Our prior writing was very focused on the self; SADWORLD is more of a reflection on the impact of the world in its current state, and on the community”.
