Will there be violins, though?

Yellowcard Are Recording Album Number 10

Jacksonville pop-punks Yellowcard are in the studio recording their 10th album!

It’ll be the follow-up to 2014’s Like A Sail, and they’re recording it in frontman Ryan Key’s personal studio, The Lone Tree Recordings.

“We literally started work on the first demo yesterday,” the singer reveals. “It’s a really exciting time. A new record is a fresh start. During the first days it’s so cool to think that in three months we will have a collection of entirely new songs. We are also making the record in my own personal studio, The Lone Tree Recordings. Creating the studio has been a huge passion project of mine and having the first full length session be a Yellowcard record is almost poetic. The atmosphere is perfect and we are all feeling creative and energized to write and record some new jams.”

Ryan also promised we might be getting to hear these songs this year, too…

“I can guarantee we will be back in the UK before the year is out and we will bring some new tunes with us for sure!”

Exciting stuff. Pick up Kerrang! tomorrow for more Yellowcard news.
