“An ode to the darkness inside”: A.A. Williams shares new single, Just A Shadow

A.A. Williams has just released a brand-new single, Just A Shadow, and accompanying animated video.

The typically spell-binding track is her first for German-American label Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM), with co-founder Gerardo Martinez happily welcoming her to the family and promising that, “Just A Shadow is a stunning introduction to what we’ll build together…”

Speaking about this first look at her new chapter, A.A. Williams calls Just A Shadow an “ode to the darkness inside. A part of you since you can remember, a cruel friend lurking just outside of view. A presence that you’ve accepted, its familiarity brings cold comfort. You’ve tried to resist it and step into the light, but you’re scared that you’re nothing without the dark.”
