Alkaline Trio cancel UK tour including 2000trees headline appearance

Alkaline Trio have cancelled their UK tour, including their headline appearance at 2000trees.

The tour was meant to begin tonight (July 3) in Birmingham but all of the dates have now been pulled due to vocalist Matt Skiba becoming unwell. All ticketholders will receive a full refund.

"We are immensely sorry but we must cancel our dates in England, including tonight's show in Birmingham, due to medical issues Matt has been suffering from that have worsened," say the band in a statement. "He's gonna be okay but needs to be treated stateside as soon as possible.

"We will be back healthier and stronger!"

7 Leeds O2 Academy
8 Manchester O2 Ritz
9 Cheltenham 2000trees Festival
