ALT BLK ERA announce Our World EP

ALT BLK ERA have announced a brand-new EP, Our World.

The duo’s upcoming release will arrive on May 22 via LAB Records – which coincides with their spring UK headline tour, kicking off at London’s O2 Academy Islington on May 21, and wrapping up at Nottingham Rescue Rooms on May 30 (full dates below).

Before that, on February 4 they’ll unveil new single Tissues, with Nyrobi Beckett-Messam explaining of the track, “After opening up about my hidden disability in songs like Straight To Heart and Come On Outside, it feels like there’s no topic we should be scared of singing about.

“With all that’s going on in the world, it was good to talk about feeling overwhelmed with emotions – over a hyper/pop rock beat. The juxtaposition of it almost feels therapeutic.”

Nyrobi adds of ALT BLK ERA’s journey so far and their plans to hit the road soon: “We’re having so much fun exploring our sound, and it feels like we’re really stepping into ourselves with every song.

“We’re so excited for the headline tour! We have so many things planned, and it’s going to be next-level insane. After touring with Pendulum, we feel more confident onstage. It’s definitely something to look forward to, for us and for our audience.”
