As Everything Unfolds have announced – with “intense devastation and heartbreak” – that their drummer Jamie Gowers tragically passed away earlier this week.

A statement from the rising High Wycombe metallers – Charlie Rolfe, Adam Kerr, George Hunt and Jon Cassidy – reads:
“It is with intense devastation and heartbreak that we must inform you that our brother, partner and bandmate Jamie Gowers has passed away.
“There will forever be someone who should be on this journey with us that isn’t, and it will take us all a long time to begin to heal.
“We ask that you please respect the wishes of Jamie’s family, as well as us and our team for privacy at this time to allow us the space to grieve our friend.
“We know that this will deeply impact you all as well, so please be kind and look out for each other.
“We love you Jamie, and we will never stop missing you.”
Vocalist Charlie also shared the following post: “I never thought I’d ever have to say these words, but my world, my partner, my best friend, my love Jamie Gowers passed away on Monday. I cannot express how much I miss him and how much of a special person he was to me and everyone around him. Please I ask you respect my privacy at this time, I’m finding everything quite difficult to process so would appreciate the time and space to grieve, as would his family and friends. I love you eternally Jamie x”
A couple of days ago, the band had to cancel their planned shows in Germany “due to a serious and overwhelming crisis within the AEU family”.
