Axl Rose Has "Magnificent Stuff" For The Next Guns N' Roses Album

Earlier this month, Slash revealed that a new Guns N' Roses album is in the works, and now bassist Duff McKagan has spoken out about what could be one of the biggest rock albums of all time.

Speaking on Eddie Trunk's radio show, Duff has said the follow-up to 2006 album Chinese Democracy is a reality, commenting that there have "been some jams going around" and that it's the next obvious step for Guns N' Roses.

But, as you'd expect from GNR, there's no set timeframe.

"The fun part and the cool part about Guns N' Roses is we don't really talk about it, and what happens next just happens," says Duff. "It's never been that band that there's a direct schedule of how we do things.

"I've heard some magnificent stuff that Axl [Rose] has – really cool stuff he's been working on. I'm excited about the possibilities with that, of course.

"[A new Guns N' Roses album] will happen when it happens, that's for sure."

Duff McKagan recently released new single Tenderness, taken from his upcoming solo album.
