Behemoth Announce In Absentia Dei Livestream From A Church

Behemoth have announced a livestream extravaganza with a difference. The event, named In Absentia Dei (in the absence of God) is to be broadcast on September 5, and will allow fans to pick from eight different camera views, and will be showing the whole thing in glorious high-def 4K.

Oh, and they're doing it in a church...

Weird pairing, but God isn't using them at the moment (although, probably, he should really be at work), and so frontman Nergal has chosen "an unnamed church" in Poland to host this unholy happening.

"We bring a new offering for our faithful Legions! You’ve seen Behemoth in many places across the globe, but never before in the Holy Church," he declares. "This is a truly innovative event of which the likes have not been seen before. There will be ritual, there will be sacrilege and all from the comfort of your home. A worldwide streamed event for A New Aeon indeed!"

Tickets are available to order now, with a 20% early-bird discount until August 28. Fans can also tune in an hour before showtime at 6pm GMT for a free hour-long pre-show on the band's YouTube channel, and the show itself will be available to watch the stream for up to 72 hours after. And, if you want a gig shirt, limited edition merch is up for sale as well.
