Bon Jovi release original festive single, Christmas Isn’t Christmas

With just over a month to go now until the big day, Bon Jovi are getting into the festive spirit with a beautiful new track called Christmas Isn’t Christmas.

Featuring a chorus in which Jon Bon Jovi laments how ‘The sky will shine a different kind of blue / Because this year Christmas isn’t Christmas without you’, the meaningful new song arrives ahead of Bon Jovi’s 40th anniversary next year, and is the first new music since their 2020 album.

Speaking about the track, Jon explains: “Hey Everybody, I wrote a song two years ago called Christmas Isn’t Christmas. It was a tough day in the house, my dad and my mom were both taken ill. And I wrote this as a gift to my parents and my children. The gift was Christmas bringing everyone together. And while we weren’t all together, we could only be there in our memories and in our thoughts and in our prayers. When we shot the video and we started conversing about it, we realised there’s also great, sunny side – Christmas Isn’t Christmas with you, unless you’re here with me. So we can lighten the mood too. I hope you like it as much as we do.”
