After teasing it for weeks, Bring Me The Horizon have now pulled back the curtain on what Dehumanized was, and it turns out it’s a new single to be taken from their 20th anniversary re-release of debut album Count Your Blessings.

Dehumanized is an original track written and recorded specifically for the re-release, which was produced by vocalist Oli Sykes and guitarist Lee Malia. It certainly fits in well with the sound of CYB, offering a modern re-interpretation of the old-school Bring Me sound.

It is the final song on the tracklist of Count Your Blessings | Repented, the re-recorded version of Count Your Blessings that will arrive on July 10.

“We can’t have this record sounding like what bands sound like today,” Oli said when the re-recorded version was announced. “It needs to be the best version of what it sounded like in 2006.”

Bring Me The Horizon will play Count Your Blessings in full at two special shows at the BEC Arena in Manchester on July 10 and 11. They’re performing alongside a stacked support bill including Static Dress, Dying Wish, Heriot, Rolo Tomassi, Still In Love, Car Underwater and Showing Teeth.
