“Like a light display turned into a song…” Listen to Cavetown’s new single Rainbow Gal, taken from next year’s Running With Scissors album.
Robin Skinner aka Cavetown has announced a brand-new album, Running With Scissors.
Due out on January 16 via Futures Music Group, the record hears Robin look deep inwards, and tackle subjects with a newfound sense of maturity. “I want [my fans] to enter this new era with me and not feel like it’s for kids. Because I’m not a kid anymore,” he reveals. “I want it to feel like we’re moving forward together.”
Cavetown’s also showing this approach through his vocals, explaining that, “I wanted to make myself sound more brave. And I wanted to impress people with my voice, like, ‘Wow, he’s actually got some pipes.’”
