Check out Split Chain’s DLX reworkings of The Space In Between with postdrome and who am i? with Commoner

Split Chain have dropped new versions of their songs The Space In Between and who am i?, featuring postdrome and Commoner respectively.

“As with the previous two singles so far, asking Derryk (postdrome) and Romin (Commoner) to feature on these songs is something we knew we had to do as soon as we’d decided to re-release motionblur,” the band say. “Derryk has been an OG supporter of us since day one of Split Chain. Whilst we had the privilege of meeting Romin and the rest of the Commoner guys whilst we’re out on our first US tour with Silverstein. They are both so uniquely talented and their bands absolutely rip. We knew immediately that they were going to deliver with these songs and that’s exactly what they did.

“To work with people with talent of their calibre was incredible, and what they’ve added to these songs is even more incredible. The songs have been yet again elevated to the point where it truly feels like they’re the definitive versions. We are so, so stoked with how they’ve turned out and we can’t thank the guys enough for agreeing to do this with us."

Previously, Split Chain released reimaginings of SPIT featuring False Reality and enlisted Roman Candle for Headway. All of these will appear on the deluxe version of last year’s debut motionblur, which drops on September 11 via Epitaph Records.

Every song has a guest on it, with reworkings to come that feature names such as Grove Street, Zetra, Concealer, Slow Degrade and more. There are also a couple of brand new tracks, namely sylvia (i won't belong to you) and scatterbrain.
