Doom legends The Obsessed announce UK tour
Get ready to get heavy: Dave Grohl's favourite U.S. doom icons are coming to town...

U.S. doom titans The Obsessed have announced that they're coming back to the UK this October.
Led by legendary singer / guitarist Scott ' Wino' Weinrich (also of Saint Vitus, The Hidden Hand, Spirit Caravan, Place Of Skulls, Shrinebuilder), The Obsessed are one of doom's most influential and important names. Among others who've queued up to salute the band and their singer (Mastodon, High On Fire, Orange Goblin, Electric Wizard, EyeHateGod etc), Dave Grohl has frequently praised the band, inviting Wino to sing on his Probot metal album, and appearing on the cover of K! wearing the band's merch.
A movie about the frontman, Wino: The Documentary, recently premiered on April 20 (maaaan), and will be on general digital release from May 13.
