Album review: Holy Wars – Shadow Work / Light Work
Holy Wars explore death through dynamism on excellent second album, Shadow Work / Light Work.
Visuals by QOTSA's guy, so you know it's far-out…
Spacey Brit psych-heads ADCX have released a suitably weird video for their track, Comet Shoemaker. The band, last seen at Desertfest London a couple of weeks back, have gone for an unsurprisingly out of this world visual for the clip, based around the artwork for their The Day I Heard The Moon Roar album, brought to life by visual artist Liam Brazier, who's also done work for Queens Of The Stone Age, Megadeth and Marvel among others.
“We can’t believe how he’s taken inspiration from our album artwork and brought it to life," say the band. "The way Liam has synched the animation to the track is genius and the shots of the control room are amazing. We can’t wait to unleash it into the Universe!”
ACDX's album The Day I Heard The Moon Roar is out now.
