Following the release of last month’s single Caught In The Treads, Gatecreeper have just announced a brand-new album.

The Arizona death metal heroes will be releasing their long-awaited third full-length, Dark Superstition, via Nuclear Blast on May 17, with frontman Chase Mason explaining that, “Many of the songs incorporate supernatural ideas with my own experiences. But the title itself is a reference to the Superstition Mountains in our home state of Arizona. It’s a beautiful mountain range surrounded by tragedy and legends of hidden fortune.”

To coincide with the news, Gatecreeper have also unveiled new single The Black Curtain, which is about “being trapped between living and dying” according to Chase. “A soul trapped in purgatory begging to be brought back by a supernatural force.”
