Holding Absence’s forthcoming album Modern Life Is Lonely has been pushed back by several weeks due to manufacturing issues with its physical editions.

The band have confirmed in a statement that their fourth album, which was originally slated for release on August 28, now won’t be out until September 18.

“We’re very sorry to share that, due to delays in the manufacturing process, our new album, Modern Life Is Lonely, will now be released on 18th September rather than the originally planned date of 28th August,” they write on Instagram.

“We’re gutted to have to delay the album and sincerely apologise for the disappointment this may cause.

“This decision has been made to ensure that every physical edition is delivered as intended to the standard you deserve.”

To make up for it, Holding Absence are releasing the title track as an extra single on August 21, which was a favourite among the fans who went to their recent album listening parties.
