Hot Milk are set to headline the inaugural Brighton Pride Rock Festival.

The band will be playing the first-ever rock/metal/alternative Brighton Pride event, with support coming from InMe and Stone Angels. It’ll be taking place on August 4, just a few weeks before the release of their highly-anticipated debut album A CALL TO THE VOID.

Speaking about the slot, vocalist Han Mee enthuses: “Heavy music has a place at Pride, and Pride itself is more important than ever.

“I never really felt like I fit in at Pride. Always felt like I was too alternative or wasn’t like… queer enough I guess? I dunno. I have always struggled with my place in everything. But this year we’re saying ‘fuck it’ and we’re helping bring the first-ever Brighton Pride rock show to life with @priderockfestival. August 4. Tickets available now at dice.fm. All welcome and it’s fucking sick that even music diversity is finding a place at Pride.”

Following their Brighton set, Hot Milk will head off on a six-date headline tour with Witch Fever and Modern Error in November, before they support the mighty Foo Fighters in stadiums next summer.
