Kid Bookie is getting more vicious than ever on new single H.A.T.E.
Taken from his forthcoming album Cheaper Than Therapy II, the new song finds him embracing his heaviness, and while some artists might run away from genre tags, Bookie has explained that this time around he wants to honour them.
“H.A.T.E is an anthem for those who just sometimes just need to say ‘fuck it’. I wanted to make a song that was a nod back to what people know me for but also the intensity of where I lie within heavy music,” says Bookie. “I’ve been called all types of genres and names since I came in this game and for once, I feel like consciously honouring those titles, this is heavy rap at its finest, trap metal at its ugliest with the lyricism of what has got me recognised by some of the greatest rappers to spit a bar.”
