Huge news for South American Slipknot fans – The Nine will be bringing Knotfest to Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Brazil.

Knotfest will return to Colombia on December 9 at the Campin Circuit of Bogotá, and feature headline sets from Judas Priest and the recently reformed Pantera (featuring Zakk Wylde and Anthrax's Charlie Benante). Also announced in the first wave of bands are Bring Me The Horizon, Trivium, Suicide Silence, Hypocrisy, Sepultura, Vended, Venom and more.

On December 11, Slipknot's travelling circus rolls into Chile's Estadio Monumental and will feature Slipknot, Judas Priest, Pantera, BMTH, Mr Bungle and more. And on December 18 it pays a visit to Sambódromo do Anhembi in São Paulo, Brazil, with all of the aforementioned bands plus even more across two stages.

But for Knotfest's first-ever Argentinian run, two shows will take place at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires: one on December 8 headlined by Slipknot and one on December 13 headlined by Judas Priest.

Basically, if you live in South America and you like metal, you're going to have a good time.

Slipknot's upcoming seventh album The End, So Far will be released on September 30 via Roadrunner.
