Korn are doing an album release livestream from a church
Korn will celebrate the release of their new album Requiem with their very own ‘mass’, which will be livestreamed globally on February 3, before the record arrives the following day…

Ahead of their new album Requiem's release this Friday, Korn have announced a special livestream 'mass' from a Los Angeles church on Thursday evening.
The Bakersfield legends will livestream the whole show globally for all to experience, with the night consisting of an 'intimate ceremony and live performance' that will also be attended by a select number of first-come, first-serve fans.
"Announcing our Requiem Mass," say Korn. "Taking place on Thursday, Feb 3 at 8PM PT – the eve of our album release – where we will gather in honor of the souls that have passed during these unprecedented times, with an intimate ceremony and live performance at the Hollywood United Methodist Church in Los Angeles.
"Limited tickets to attend this event will be available at @AmoebaHollywood on Tuesday, Feb 1 at 11AM, and will be first come first serve. We will also be live-streaming globally for all to experience, direct from the church to our YouTube channel in real time. Mark your calendars. It’s time to #StartTheHealing."
As per Amoeba, those who are going along in person 'must wear appropriate black funeral attire and have proof of vaccination', and are also 'encouraged to bring a token or item of remembrance to honor a loved one who has passed to leave in the casket as part of the ceremony'.
