From WILLOW’s cover of The Funeral to YUNGBLUD mashing up Kanye West, The 1975 and Black Sabbath, BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge has delivered plenty of treats over the past few weeks. And, recently, it was beabadoobee’s turn to do a session.

As well as stripping back the perfect pair from this year’s Beatopia album, the musician opted to cover Vanessa Carlton’s massive pop classic A Thousand Miles – which this year turned 20, if you can believe it. Of course, bea put her own ’90s grunge/alt.rock-style spin on the song, and it turned out absolutely wonderfully.
