beabadoobee unveils angsty new single Switchblade

beabadoobee has shared a new single, Switchblade.

Equal parts searching and dreamy, it’s the second single from her forthcoming album Pylon, following its lead single Sun Has Set.

Expanding on the album’s themes, Bea says: “Pylon is about accepting that negative feelings are going to come back—accepting the insecurity and feeling confused. It’s all a necessary part of growing and knowing yourself better. You have to go through all that shit, I have to write about it.”

There’s even more to look forward to when the album drops on September 18 via Dirty Hit and Interscope Records, as it features an insanely good list of collaborators. Hayley Williams, Brendan Yates and Chino Moreno all appear on the record, but that’s not all - there are also guest features from Pinegrove’s Evan Stephens Hall and Title Fight’s Shane Moran.
