Knocked Loose have just unleashed a monstrous new single, Don’t Reach For Me.
The track follows February comeback rager Blinding Faith, with both singles taken from the Kentucky heroes’ upcoming album You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To (which is due out on May 10 via Pure Noise).
And once again this is another tune that lives up to all the pre-release hype from the band, with guitarist Isaac Hale previously teasing of the whole record: “On this album, we go the fastest we’ve ever gone; we go the scariest we’ve ever gone. We also go the catchiest and the most melodic that we’ve ever gone, and that’s the point. Instead of branching off into a specific direction, we want to encompass all directions.”
Speaking specifically about Don’t Reach For Me, frontman Bryan Garris calls this “maybe the meanest song I’ve ever written”, adding that it’s about “someone who tried their hardest to come into my life and mess with two out of the three closest people I have”.
