Militarie Gun share two beautifully reworked Life Under The Gun tracks

Before they hit the UK for their headline tour in just a few days’ time, Militarie Gun have released two (sort of) new songs…

The Los Angeles breakout stars have beautifully reworked two songs from this year’s brilliant Life Under The Gun debut: Never Fucked Up Twice, featuring Bully’s Alicia Bognanno, and Very High (Under The Sun).

Speaking to Kerrang! in the summer about the band’s aims on Life Under The Gun, frontman Ian Shelton explained: “The goal was to write something that felt like a classic rock record. You’re trying to find this balance and combination that is de-aggressifying things that are hardcore, and then making the non-hardcore things more aggressive. You’re making it all meet in the middle, but not in a way of compromise, but as a vision. There’s never a formula. Some days, shit, I’m listening to a lot of Third Eye Blind and then some days I’m listening to Crossed Out…”
