“It’s time to herd goats”: Ministry to bow out with final album, Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery), and farewell tour

Ministry are wrapping up their 45-year career with one more album, Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery), and a farewell tour.

The industrial pioneers’ 17th and final album - the follow-up to 2024's HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES - will arrive on October 30 via Cleopatra Records and, according to a press release, finds mainman Al Jourgensen dispensing a “few final things to say about the state of the world, those in charge and how we should all collectively move forward.” Judging by some of its song titles, including Clown Car, We Hate, The White Man Lied and Grifter, he’s probably not going to be pulling any punches (but when has he?)

“I’m fucking done,” Al declares. I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished. I’m amazed at the path that it’s taken, from With Sympathy to where we’re at today, and all points in between. It’s been quite a ride, but I’m completely at peace with the fact that it’s done. It’s time to herd goats.”

They’ve also shared the lead single Burned Out with a music video directed by Joshua Bradford, formerly of Ministry side project Revolting Cocks - check it out below.
