Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder Covers Maybe It's Time From A Star Is Born

Eddie Vedder performed Maybe It's Time (from A Star Is Born) at his recent acoustic show in Arizona.

The Pearl Jam frontman was performing at the Innings Festival at Tempe Beach Park, and crammed in a whopping 24 songs into his set, including covers of The Beatles, The Clash and Tom Petty. But it was the cover of Bradley Cooper's Maybe It's Time from the Oscar-winning A Star Is Born that has sent ripples throughout the internet.

The song Maybe It's Time was written by Jason Isbell, who was shocked to hear that Vedder had covered one of his songs.

"Holy shit Eddie Vedder sang my Bradley Cooper song in his set tonight," he tweeted. "That is by far the strangest sentence I’ve ever composed but it’s certainly a huge honor. I was 12 when Ten came out and by god I learned how to play every song on it."

Bradley Cooper has previously stated that his character Jackson Maine from A Star Is Born was actually inspired by Vedder.

Eddie Vedder will play Wembley Stadium in London on July 6, supporting The Who. Get your tickets now.
