Royal Blood are teasing some heavy new music

Royal Blood have shared a clip of what sounds like a new song - and they might just be heading in their most exciting direction yet.

The band posted a snippet of some music on their Instagram, with the camera zoomed in on the neck of vocalist-bassist Mike Kerr’s guitar as he jams away. When Ben Thatcher comes in on the drums, it becomes clearer that whatever they’re putting out next could be a step up in heaviness from their previous output.

Royal Blood’s last album Back To The Water Below came out in 2023, which they then followed up with the B-side Supermodel Avalanches. In 2024, they played two special shows at O2 Academy Brixton to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their self-titled debut.
