The Hunger Games prequel The Ballad Of Songbirds & Snakes teases icy return in mini-trailer

It seems the odds are in our favour as Lionsgate have unveiled a gripping teaser trailer for Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games prequel trilogy The Ballad Of Songbirds & Snakes.

Set before the well-known Hunger Games timeline, The Ballad Of Songbirds & Snakes follows 18-year-old Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blyth) as he desperately seeks to salvage his family name from post-war Capitol disgrace.

As the 10th annual Hunger Games looms, Coriolanus Snow is assigned to mentor Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegle), a tribute from District 12, one of the poorest districts of Panem. As events unfold, audiences are left to uncover who is the songbird and who is the snake.

The highly-anticipated Hunger Games prequel will be hitting theatres on November 17, 2023.
