Black Sabbath are releasing a massive Technical Ecstasy box set

The Super Deluxe Edition of Black Sabbath’s seventh album, Technical Ecstasy, lands in October.

What’s better than Black Sabbath? More Black Sabbath, obviously. Good news, then: on October 1, Birmingham’s lords of darkness will be reissuing their seventh album, 1976’s Technical Ecstasy, with a hell-load of bonus stuff.

Coming as a four CD of five LP mega box set – in similar fashion to Sabbs’ recent reissues of Paranoid, Vol 4 and SABotage – the new version of Technical Ecstasy comes with remastered and alternate mixes of the album courtesy of Porcupine Tree man and producer Steven Wilson, loads of outtakes and live versions, booklet, recreated tour programme and poster.
