Bury Tomorrow Team Up With Fans To Form The Black Flame Band
How many times have you wished you were a member of your favourite band? Well, Southampton metalcore heroes and all-round dream-makers Bury Tomorrow have made that very scenario a reality, forming the badass-sounding Black Flame Band with the help of six of their most talented and dedicated fans.
Having chosen the contenders after scouring YouTube and watching endless fan covers of their single Black Flame, the group then hosted an exclusive studio event with the winners in May to “come down to the studio, spend some time with us practising, performing and learning how to hone your craft even further”. The results, as you can see in the video below, are pretty damn awesome.
“This was one of the best experiences we have ever had as part of this band,” bassist Davyd Winter-Bates enthuses. “The ability to not only work with such a talented group of people in the Black Flame Band but also to hear about how our band has affected them was truly humbling. We’ve always been a band that has constantly tried to put the fans first, but thanks to YouTube we have been able to do something over these two days that I didn’t think was ever possible. From start to finish it has been incredible.”

Bury Tomorrow are heading out on tour across the UK this December, where they will be playing latest album Black Flame in full!
“We are absolutely stoked to announce that we will be playing Black Flame in full on our tour at the end of the year,” says frontman Dani Winter-Bates. “As this is the end of the Black Flame cycle we wanted to give fans a special chance to see and hear the album as it was written and intended. We hope everyone is excited as we are! Long live Black Flame.”
