Ex-Black Veil Brides Bassist Ashley Purdy Is Teasing New Music

Ashley Purdy, who parted ways with Black Veil Brides earlier in the month, is up to something…

Just under two weeks after it was announced that Black Veil Brides and Ashley Purdy were parting ways, the bassist has started teasing his own solo material.

In his first update since the split, Ashley posted, “What if I told you I’ve been busy… working on new music. What if i told you it sounded like this…” along with a snippet of the material on his Instagram account. It’s hard to judge just yet what Ashley’s new project is going to entail, but this teaser certainly sounds a world away from the hard rock of BVB.

Announcing their parting of ways with Ashley earlier in the month, Black Veil Brides simply posted: “Black Veil Brides and Ashley Purdy have mutually agreed to part ways. We have enjoyed a wonderful run together and both parties wish one another continued success moving forward.”

The band are set to perform at next year’s Download Festival alongside Iron Maiden, KISS, System Of A Down, Korn and loads more amazing bands. Get your tickets now.
