Funko Europe Launch Pokémon POP!s For The First Time
Funko Europe are launching Pokémon POP! vinyl figures for the first time.
The collectibles giant have teamed up with The Pokémon Company International for their first European collaboration, which is arriving next month.
Unsurprisingly, they’ve gone for a pair of absolute classics to kickstart the collection, with many more figures set to also be released in 2021.
Beloved first-generation Pokémon Pikachu and Bulbasaur are being immortalised in POP! form – both in standard-sized vinyl, and enlarged 10”.
“One of the most exciting new opportunities for Funko this side of the Atlantic, we are beyond delighted to bring the Pokémon Pop! Vinyl line to life for our European fans,” says Andy Oddie, Managing Director of Funko (EMEA). “This is just the beginning, watch this space.”
Mathieu Galante, Licensing Director at The Pokémon Company International (EMEA) adds: “Both Pokémon and Funko are iconic pop culture brands and as such are thrilled that this collaboration will, for the first time, provide fans across Europe the opportunity to add a new dimension to their Pokémon experience.”
You can pick up Pikachu and Bulbasaur this October from Smyths Toys Superstores (UK and Ireland), Toys Center (Italy), Fnac (France), Müller (Germany), Salling Group — Bilka BR and Føtex (Nordics) and El Corte Inglés (Spain).
