The internet has done some digging and found that Gerard Way just registered two tracks on the BMI Repertoire, where musicians log the songs they've written.

While we're all still waiting to see what exactly My Chemical Romance's reunion will consist of beyond their upcoming touring plans, the trusty folks on Reddit have found a potential development regarding new music.

User TehSkull says that they developed a tool "for work that watches websites for specific changes", connecting it to the BMI Repertoire – and specifically, frontman Gerard Way's page. The website is used by musicians to register songs they've written for credit, with Gerard as of March 24 only just logging two tracks called Emily and Still Alive.

As this eagle-eyed MCRmy member points out, My Chemical Romance do in fact already have a song called Emily on their 2016 Black Parade 10-year anniversary reissue Living With Ghosts, but there is still plenty of speculation about them both.

While the former track could simply just be being updated, as it was only released as a rough mix on Living With Ghosts, Still Alive is a much more peculiar prospect. Interestingly, both seem to also include credits for the band's old drummer Bob Bryar, who departed in 2010. Are these just super-old tracks that are being logged for admin purposes, or are My Chem in the process of updating/reworking them?

While My Chemical Romance were supposed to be kicking off their 2020 tour this month in Japan, Australia and New Zealand, their shows were sadly postponed or cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
