Mark Hoppus Has Confirmed The Release Date Of The New blink-182 Album

blink-182’s new album will be arriving soon.

It would seem we finally have an official release date for blink-182’s brand-new album: September 20.

Bassist Mark Hoppus confirmed the news in an interview with Good Morning America, revealing, “September 20 is the release date of the album.”

While the date is now seemingly out in the world, an actual name for the follow-up to 2016’s California is not yet known. But the pop-punk titans recently revealed that they had a couple of interesting titles in the mix – one of which, BOJMIR, might even stick.

“But we’re trying to make it fancy,” joked Mark. “It’s rimjob spelled backwards but it’s pronounced ‘boh-mir’ – the ‘j’ is silent in this iteration.”

Mark also recently explained why there was a tiny delay in new material, revealing that the creative juices have been flowing this time around.

“We keep writing more and more songs and the songs keep getting better and better,” he said. “Originally I thought we were going to have an album out in June, but we keep adding more songs.”
