With Slayer: The Repentless Killogy all set for a one-night-only release on November 6, the band's own Tom Araya and Kerry King have been interviewed about the story behind the movie.

The film will come ahead of the thrash legends' final-ever gig at the Forum in Los Angeles on November 30, Slayer will be premiering their two-part Repentless Killogy in cinemas, with the release compromised of the band's three latest music videos (You Against You, Repentless, Pride In Prejudice) and a rather grisly story involving gangs and bloodshed, plus their entire live show at the Los Angeles Forum on August 5, 2017.

"When we first did it, I thought we were just doing the Repentless music video; I didn't know we had a plan for three videos," says Kerry King regarding the overall concept. "This trilogy is unique, and I think it's unique to Slayer which makes it even cooler."

Speaking about the movie, Nuclear Blast’s Gerardo Martinez says, “Everything from matching Slayer’s ferocity and heaviness in video form, to expanding into a longer narrative and live show has created the perfect Slayer atmosphere. We are beyond thrilled to give fans around the world the opportunity to join us on November 6 to witness a pure slab of fuckin’ insanity!”

“The film expertly demonstrates how Slayer has become one of the most influential metal bands of the last three decades, bringing together the creative forces of film and music to create a must see on the big screen,” adds Marc Allenby, CEO of distributors Trafalgar Releasing. “We look forward to seeing how fans react when they come together for this unique experience.”
