Watch Vended’s impressive performance from Knotfest Iowa
The young Des Moines band – who have so far only played a handful of shows – hit their home state’s Knotfest for a confident and aggressive set, which of course included a great run-through of Asylum.
Made up of Corey Taylor’s son Griffin on vocals, Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan’s son Simon on drums, plus guitarists Cole Espeland and Connor Grodzicki, and bassist Jeramiah Pugh, it’s easy (and probably a bit lazy) to say that the band take after their dads in Slipknot… but, well, it’s abundantly clear that their metal talent runs in the family.

Vended will play Knotfest Los Angeles in November, plus Knotfest Chile and Knofest Brasil in 2022.
