Very sad.

We Are Knuckle Dragger Frontman Aran Glover Has Passed Away

The Newcastle Chronicle reports that Aran Glover, frontman of Newcastle/Belfast band We Are Knuckle Dragger, died suddenly this week. The band had recorded with both Ross Robinson and Steve Albini, toured with Meshuggah and Dillinger Escape Plan and appeared at ArcTanGent and Reading & Leeds Festival. They released two EPs and two albums.

David Smith of Sapien Records, the band's label, shared the following tribute via Facebook:

This is my amazing friend Aran Glover. We shared THE best of times with each other.

Here are some photos of Aran at his happiest ...⁣

Performing, recording, writing, travelling and meeting people; life changing experiences I knew he cherished as these are the basis of many stories still talked about amongst friends.⁣

A pure force of nature; Arans drive, passion, creativeness, love of music and a willingness to help others was massively influential to many musicians, bands & promoters in and around DIY music scenes.⁣

Literally HUNDREDS of friends & family paid their respects at a Service Of Celebration in Holywood Belfast this week, a pure testament to how much he was loved!
