Turnstile have unfortunately had to cancel their show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton next month.

The band were set to play their biggest-ever UK headline gig on August 15, but with the venue still closed following a fatal crowd crush last December, they’ve been unable to make a new date in the capital work.

“London: Due to the current status of the O2 Academy Brixton remaining closed, we are sad to say our show on August 15 is cancelled,” reads a statement on Turnstile’s Instagram.

“Despite our efforts, we were unable to reschedule or relocate to another location. Your booking will be refunded in full automatically. Love you all so much. We will see you soon.”

At the time of writing, their gig the following night at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse is still seemingly going ahead.
