The first wave of bands have been announced for next year's Slam Dunk Festival and it's shaping up to be a big one.

Topping the bill at the May Bank Holiday weekender will be K! faves You Me At Six, who return to headline Hatfield Park and Leeds Temple Newsam two years after their Sinners Never Sleep 10-year anniversary shows.

“Looking forward to returning to Slam Dunk this year to headline the festival," says frontman Josh Franceschi. "Slam Dunk has given You Me At Six so much over our career and we’ve got a lot of special memories from performing there over the years. The line-up is stacked with great artists, so will be an elite one.”

Joining YMAS on the main stage will be The All American Rejects, Boys Like Girls, We The Kings and Head Automatica performing a 20th anniversary of Decadence set.

Elsewhere in this initial wave of over 20 acts, Slam Dunk have announced the likes of I Prevail, The Interrupters, Waterparks, Palaye Royale, Pale Waves, Bob Vylan, Pennywise, The Wonder Years and L.S. Dunes.

Slam Dunk 2024 takes place at Hatfield Park and Leeds Temple Newsam on May 25 and 26 respectively. Tickets go on sale Friday October 27 at 10am UK time.
