ZAND announces SEWERSTAR EP, drops new single

As teased in their debut Kerrang! Cover Story in April, ZAND has finally announced details of a brand-new EP entitled SEWERSTAR.

Due out on July 20, the seven-song release has been teased with killer new single DTF, which ZAND calls “an unhinged, orgasmic and obnoxious proclamation of self-lust. Lyrically and sonically. Obviously.”

And it’s a sign of what’s to come from the record as a whole, with the artist explaining of their light-hearted approach to art: “Sometimes I just want to be dumb and write a song about having a wank. I think to myself, ‘What can I do to sonically make this fucking unhinged?’ It goes so much further than just the subject matter, it’s all about the sonic elements and the production and the sounds that I pick and choose coming together.”
