ArcTanGent has confirmed where it’s relocating to from next year.
In June, the fest announced this year’s event would be the last at Fernhill Farm in Bristol, where it has taken place ever since it started in 2014.
With a week to go till fans descend on Fernhill Farm for the last time to see acts such as Chelsea Wolfe, Primus and Cult Of Luna & Julie Christmas, ATG has revealed its new home will be at Todenham Manor Farm, near Moreton-in-Marsh in Gloucestershire.
"After seeing LOADS of places in the South & South West, we think we've found the perfect place. You've trusted us for the last 12 years, so please trust us again now… Todenham Manor Farm is awesome and will be a brilliant new home for ATG. We are very excited for what the future holds.” say the organisers.
They continue: "There's been a lot of questions as to why the move? The truth is, the landowners at Fernhill decided last year that they no longer wanted ATG on their farm. So we had to find a new home for ATG so the party could continue. We promise we did try to find a site near Bristol, and we visited loads of sites in the area, but none of them were suitable."
The organisers also say that the new location will have a very similar layout to the current one and will be around the same size, but fans will have a bit more space in the campsite.
They have also said the new site will be easier to get to, as it’s around a two-hour drive from London, an hour and 25 minutes from Bristol and an hour from Birmingham, whose airport has a wider range of options for flights for international visitors.
On top of this, Moreton-in-Marsh station is just a five minute drive away, making life much easier for fans travelling by train who are used to schlepping over from Bristol Temple Meads like they do now. Sounds like a win!
ArcTanGent will take place at Todenham Manor Farm for the first time between August 18-21, 2027.
