Dinosaur Jr get confrontational on new single, Blowin’ Up

Dinosaur Jr have released a blunt new single, Blowin’ Up.

It’s one of two songs from their forthcoming album There Near to have been written by bassist and vocalist Lou Barlow, who’s not mincing his words when it comes to the current state of affairs - ‘Nothing quite as bad as a bored edge lord/The dreaming and the scheming get so dark/Maybe you need a vacation where doctors are saving your patience.’

There Near arrives on August 28 via Jagjagwar and also features the previously released single Several Got Away.
