Eagles Of Death Metal Announced For Reading & Leeds Festival

Eagles Of Death Metal have been announced for Reading & Leeds Festivals, and have rescheduled their European tour including a show in Paris, in what will be an emotional return to the French capital.

The band have rescheduled The Nos Amis Tour which is set to start in Stockholm on February 13, 2016 and it will be the first tour since the tragic Paris attacks, where 89 people lost their lives. In addition to this, the band will make their only UK appearance of the year at Reading & Leeds Festivals 2016 which takes place on August 26 – 28.

They’ll also play the Olympia Theatre in Paris on February 16 and the band are offering free tickets to all those that were at the Bataclan show on November 13. Frontman Jesse Hughes left this message for the fans:“The people of Paris have always been incredible to us, and our feeling of love towards this beautiful city and its people has been reinforced a million times over this past month. Hearing the stories of the survivors, the injured and those who have lost loved ones has been overwhelming. Not returning to finish our set was never an option. We look forward to coming back in February and continuing our mission to bring rock ‘n’ roll to the world.”

Eagles Of Death Metal recently made their live return the other week in Paris, as they were invited out on stage with U2. Check out the footage below.
