Eagles Of Death Metal have played a moving set in Paris for Bataclan survivors
Three months after the horrific terrorist attack at the Bataclan theatre that left 89 people dead, last night (February 16) Eagles Of Death Metal returned to play a headline show in Paris for survivors. Taking place at the Olympia theatre, it was an emotional set that saw the band hold an 89-second silence – one for each of the lost lives. While the band had previously returned to the city in December with U2, this marked their first full headline gig in Paris since the Bataclan gig – and it notably included Josh Homme performing on drums.
You can watch footage from last night’s gig below, which includes a cover of Rolling Stones‘ classic Brown Sugar:
Eagles Of Death Metal are on the cover of this week’s issue, featuring an exclusive interview and photoshoot with Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme. The issue is on sale now.
