Employed To Serve are getting introspective but no less heavy on their new single A Moment Gone Too Soon, while they’ve also shared plans for a UK and EU headline tour with Cabal.

"A Moment Gone Too Soon touches on something we're all guilty of, taking what we have for granted and not realising until it's too late and the sands of time have insidiously slipped through our fingers, until every grain of a reality we once knew exists only in memory,” say the band. “However, this is not a song focused on looking back with rose-tinted glasses, far from it. This is a track that focuses on grabbing the present day with both hands and ringing every bit of happiness and opportunity out of it. At the end of the day, it's all we truly have.”

It’s their second single the band have put out on Sammy Urwin and Justine Jones’ own label Church Road Records, following May’s Dead Reckoning.

Meanwhile, ETS have also confirmed a co-headline tour across the UK and Europe with Danish deathcore bruisers Cabal. The shows will kick off in Brighton on November 6, just before Cabal play Damnation in Manchester the day after.

From there, they’ll hit up Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Nottingham, Bristol and Plymouth before the UK run concludes in London. Next, they’ll head to Europe for an extensive run across the continent, starting in Dordrecht on November 14 and ending in Lyon on December 5. Cold Culture will be opening on all dates.

Tickets go on sale on Monday (July 20) at 10am UK time and 11am Central European time.
