Photographer Scarlet Page celebrates 30 years of work with new London exhibition
Scarlet Page has dug out plenty of “treasures from a different time” for a special London exhibition in September, celebrating 30 years of music photography.
Jack White and Greta Van Fleet have joined this weekend’s Soundside event in place of Foo Fighters, who have cancelled last-minute.
Foo Fighters have just cancelled their appearance at this weekend’s Soundside Music Festival.
Ahead of their planned slot at the Bridgeport, Connecticut fest on Sunday night, September 29, the band have taken to social media to simply state that, “Foo Fighters will no longer be appearing at this weekend’s Soundside Music Festival. Please check the festival website for more information.”
In their place, Soundside have revealed that Jack White and Greta Van Fleet have joined the line-up – but neither Foos nor Soundside have given a reason for this change, with the festival posting: “Unfortunately, Foo Fighters have announced they’re no longer performing this weekend.”
Soundside was the only live date left in Foos’ calendar this year, with the rock titans having wrapped up their Everything Or Nothing At All Tour in August. Since then, Dave Grohl publicly announced that he had “recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside my marriage”.
In a statement posted on his @davestruestories account on Instagram on September 10, the frontman wrote: “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
