“This is just a test”: Foo Fighters reveal several snippets of new music
Having recently completed work on the follow-up to 2023’s But Here We Are, this is what Foo Fighters’ new album is going to sound like…
Listen to Foos’ new single Your Favorite Toy – a track that Dave Grohl describes as “the fuse to the powder keg of songs” the rock titans put together this time around…
After much teasing, the Foo Fighters have just confirmed details of their 12th studio album, Your Favorite Toy.
The follow-up to 2023’s incredible But Here We Are is set to arrive on April 24 via Roswell Records/Columbia Records, and will include 2025 single Asking For A Friend as well as the newly-unveiled title-track.
“Your Favorite Toy really was the key that unlocked the tone and energetic direction of the new album,” explains Dave Grohl. “We stumbled upon it after experimenting with different sounds and dynamics for over a year, and the day it took shape I knew that we had to follow its lead. It was the fuse to the powder keg of songs we wound up recording for this record. It feels new.”
This time around, the LP was co-produced by Foos alongside Oliver Roman, engineered by Oliver Roman and mixed by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent, and was actually recorded at home. Hear exactly what that recipe sounds like by streaming Your Favorite Toy below:
