To celebrate the release of their new album Your Favorite Toy, the rock legends appeared on the recently-launched UK edition of the iconic comedy show, tearing through Caught In The Echo and Child Actor.
In an interview with Apple Music / The Zane Lowe Show about the ethos behind the band’s latest material, Dave Grohl explained, “With this new record and this new stuff, every single song feels great. I think it’s because the way the songs were written, the way it was recorded, it’s kind of simple and direct. And it has more to do with the energy than any sort of proficiency. It’s like a vibe.”
