Original story: After teasing a U.S. summer stadium tour last week, Green Day will seemingly be extra busy in 2024, as they’ve confirmed that there will be UK and European tour dates, too.
Fresh from the announcement of their highly-anticipated 14th studio album Saviors, and the release of awesome lead single The American Dream Is Killing Me, their official webstore now contains the very exciting information that if you pre-order the band’s record, you can get ‘presale access to UK and European 2024 tour dates’.
Saviors is due out on January 19, 2024 via Reprise/Warner Records, and it was co-produced by Rob Cavallo (who worked with the band on classics like Dookie and American Idiot). The trio revealed yesterday that the album is “an invitation into Green Day’s brain, their collective spirit as a band, and an understanding of friendship, culture and legacy of the last 30 plus years.”
They added: “It’s raw and emotional. Funny and disturbing. It’s a laugh at the pain, weep in the happiness kind of record. Honesty and vulnerability.”
