Boston metalcore mob Ice Nine Kills have released a suitably spooky cover of Fountains Of Wayne's forever-awesome hit Stacy's Mom.
The horror-themed version was unveiled over the weekend to mark both Mother's Day in America, and also the 40th anniversary of Friday The 13th – with the title being renamed and the lyrics reworked to fit the character of Jason Voorhees ('Jason’s Mom has got it goin’ on / With a body count that rivals her son’s'). Which is just… lovely.

“Today marks the 40th anniversary of Friday The 13th and with tomorrow being Mother’s Day, we thought this acoustic cover would be the perfect way to celebrate,” said frontman Spencer Charnas.
“We want to dedicate this to the memory of the inspirational songwriter Adam Schlesinger, who co-wrote this amazing and enduring pop song for Fountains Of Wayne. We hope all the Moms out there have a truly killer Mother’s Day.”
